Might sound like a strange question to some here, since it has nothing to do with coputer or console, but are there any p&p roleplayers around in Andover?  I am tired of all those virtual games and my dice have been rotting away in the moth box for too long (haven't played for almost 8 years).  Anybody got some real games like Shadowrun, Dungeons&Dragons (NOT on computer), RoleMaster or anything?

I don't have any of my rule or source books, they got left behind when I moved home, but am open on what system to play. Just don't invite me to some online or LAN group.
Thanks in adavance.

Hi I used to have some d&d gaming books I used to play, Then I got into playing warhammer fantasy but do not play it anymore as I can't find anyone who plays it round here. As for p&p rpgs i've not played them in a long long time the best advice I can offer is to google it and see if there are any local gaming clubs around hope it helps and good luck with your search.

Thanks, I had a look and it seems there are no clubs in the imediate area, the nearest being Aldershot and Portsmouth. Also the nearest RPG dealer is in Southampton.  Would be great to find at least a bunch of curious peoplez to get hooked on the game.  Or maybe you can get back into it.

i used to play hero quest alot years ago which when it came out was classed as the poor mans D&D lol... the minitures were from citidal who do the games workshop figures ..it was produced by milton bradley i think .
same sort of principal as D&D execpt its played on a map board of a dungon , you had a gamemaster and 4 characters (adventurers) which were the heroes on a quest lol..
in fact i think i still might have it somewhere buried in the depths of the attic.
i used to have the original plus the advanced version and even possible i had the kellers keep expansion pack ...
it was an awesome game and theres still a large fan base out there for it , if you google it you can find out more about it ...
just quick info ...heroquest cost about £20 when it came out in 1990 it now worth upto and over £50 with the expansion packs which cost about £10-£15 now go for anything from £30 to £70 ...
anyways il stop dribbling on anyway if you think its something you might be interested in then maybe i could be tempted to brave the dangerous monster ridden caven of my attic to dig it out lol ...
